"I contacted NCB after a staff member received an advertising fax sent to our office. My employee was interested in studying a Cert IV in Small Business Management, but the cost had proved prohibitive. NCB offered both the course my employee wished to study and help for my business with accessing government funding which would cover the cost of the course. Too good to be true I thought. How wrong I was... My staff member, or team player as we now refer to our staff (thanks to NCB) has recently commenced a traineeship and is studying for her Cert IV in small business. The first step was fairly difficult, it had been a long while since I had sat in a classroom and I really didn't know what to expect. "I had been putting off beginning my business course at the NCB for a couple years due to lack of spare time. Wow that was a big mistake and a major loss of time. Since starting my Small business management course I have seen HUGE improvements in both the business and myself. Since the very first class at the NCB I now look forward to every session. I am always quite busy and the NCB helps to re-align my focus each month and give me some great ideas for the business and continue to build on its positive attitude. In March my employer gave me a voucher to do the Eagle Programme Time management course. I have always considered myself a lazy person, preferring to do nothing than anything. Craig hosted the Time Management course that day, and in the space of 6 hours my life changed. Two days ago I had my performance review, and normally I would have a fear of losing my job through lack of productivity, this time I was commended for the magnificent change in my work output. As a result I have been specially selected to participate in an intesive trainers course that only 10 people of our 200+ employees were selected for. I am achieving personal and professional goals at such a rapid rate that I can barely keep up. I can not thank Craig and the National College of Business enough for the control they gave me over all aspects of my life.
